Had been a family favorite for years. About 10 years ago we decided to was our place and I take people here all the time. Cozy atmosphere, good prices, and great food.

A good place to hang out with friends. The restaurant has a lot of great character. Overall, the food is not as good as places like Hacienda Colorado, but is still tasty.

I would probably give three and a half stars. The service was great and fast. The atmosphere is really nice, love the design. I would not get the queso, it was strange. The salsa is good though. Chicken and steak tacos were good. But just not quite enough for higher rating. I would definitely go back, however.

Never had a complaint with these guys and I've been going since a kid. They have good portions, good food, good horchatas, and whenever the taco bar shells get stale they get fresh ones right out.

This place is so cool! Loved the building itself and the interior especially. Feels like you're in a restaurant in Mexico. It's cozy and colorful...there are even Spanish lessons in the restrooms! Very good authentic Mexican food.

As always a pleasure to visit. Busy as usual, but quick chips and salsa and quick service with a smile . Thanks again for another great visit.

White tablecloth dining. The food and service is always great. Love the grilled salmon. They have a wonderful limoncello by the way

I always love Jose O'Shea's always good food tonight burrito and sopapilla's and bean soup best part is I'll be going back via my $50 gift card. Great service. No waiting to be seated. Yeah

Main plate is three enchiladas, one cheese, one chicken, one ground beef, covered in a cheddar, tomatillo, and enchilada sauce. Beef needs flavor and spice. Cheese is a bit bland, needs salt, chicken is pretty tasty. Rice was mushy and had no flavor. Beans are actually quite good. The star was the tortilla soup. Really good, shouldve just stuck with that, maybe a couple chicken enchiladas. Heard from friends the margaritas are really good, but I didnt have one.

As always, we love eating here and I am amazed how clean it is, especially how old it is. Beautiful decor!

Placed take out order and waited for it. Desk person was very nice. When we got home the order was incorrect. Missing items. Mgr. Was very nice and credited my card. Food was good but portions too small

I love Jose O'Shea's. This was a favorite hangout of my mom and mine. Since she passed a couple months ago it makes me love Jose O'Shea's even more. The food and service are great and the place has a great ambience.

Always enjoy eating here. Food is great and the atmosphere is fun. They have a great happy hour as well.

This is an old stand by. Used to be a favorite but it is losing something. The food is still pretty good, margaritas not so much, service has steadily gone down hill for a very long time. The prices are still good. Atmosphere is great! If they can work on the bar and service this place will be back to a great little Mexican food restaurant. Not a fan of the salsa at all but their green chili is really good. My favorite is their chicken taquitos, DELICIOUS!

Good service, fun atmosphere, but food was pretty much drenched in cheese and oil. Salsa was delicious for the table. Just know what you're in for

Man this was good. I was traveling for business, and was recommended this place by a colleague, and was not disappointed. Priced will, very filling, and excellent margarita to unwind after a long plane ride. Fantastic evening.

Great service with awesome and authentic food! It’s my favorite Mexican restaurant, I drive 30 minutes to come here! The original chimichanga and tacos are always the best!!

Not sure I can add anything remarkable about this place to put it above any other Tex Mex restaurant. They have sparklers on their birthday presentations. The staff give the appearance that they really would like to please you. The food didn’t strike me as different or unique. It’s just ok I guess. And quick. Oh, and their drinks are large and not different or outstanding.

The best food anywhere. Just drove 1000 miles to eat there again. Very reasonable prices. Very nice and friendly. Definitely get a bowl of Lorenzo's chicken soup

I returned after 13yrs and was quite a bit disappointed. 4 sets of utensils were gross, as if they were barely dipped in water to wash. Thankfully tables were clean, service was acceptable and food was about the same.

Decent menu. Staff was attentive. The menu left something to be desired though.The setting is nice though and has a relaxing an atmosphere. This paired with the food being very good made for a pleasant experience.For those that wonder, there was not an excruciating wait for our food for a party of 10. Very satisfied.

An old friend of mine popped into town. Her last night here went to Jose's. We hadn't been there in 20 years. EVERYTHING WAS EXACTLY THE SAME! Thanks for a great dinner and a great time.

Would of given a 5 star if they didn't skimp on salsa for to go orders. It was excellent food, the lady told me they didn't have a spicy salsa that's also a bummer

Excellent Mexican food restaurant and bar. Spent an evening there for a sporting event. Free Taco bar. wonderful menu items and some of the best Margaritas ever.

OK so it's definitely not going to have you writing home to mom but the food is 10x better then the slop served up a Costa Bonita on West Colfax and Perry. Happy hour is banging offered complimentary with purchase of your favorite beverage. Mine is there strawberry blinded Margaret.

Loved this place! The food was great! The decor of this restaurant is off the charts. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food. They also had amazing french fries! If you're looking for a restaurant off Simms and Union, I suggest coming here!

One of my favorite places around town for Mexican food. Many different sauces from mild to hot, great salsa, friendly staff, happy hours and the menu has many different items to satisfy. Especially the Cream Cheese & Chicken Enchiladas.

Very good restaurant. Very unique and stylistic interior design, great food. Birthday service is great, and they often have deals on alcoholic beverages (happy hour, etc.) No glaring issues.

Best margarita in town. Their salsa is delicious. Their servers are extra friendly and extra careful to make sure that you have everything you need without you even having to ask for it. If you're in the Denver area this is a must stop.

This is a personal favorite, my parents would take my brother and I here when we were very young, when all I knew of Mexican food was tacos. For nostalgic reasons I can appreciate a classic that is still in business, they must be doing something right. The food is good and more than generous helpings.

This is my second time here. Of course I returned becuse the food is delicious and the portion size is great for the price! The restaurant always seems busy so there is confidence the food turns over and is fresh!! The service the second visit was slower than the first time. My first visit was for dinner and the second for lunch. We tried to get more tea and water but that didn't happen until we were ready to leave.

Gotta be honest, I expected more. The food was just okay. I ordered the steak street tacos, which is something any Mexican restaurant should be able to make competently. Unfortunately, the steak was a bit overcooked and had barely any flavor at all. My friend who ate with me was also underwhelmed by her burrito. I don't plan to come back.

This place is not hurting for business. Can't go wrong with eating here but be careful the salsa is HOT

I've been there once so far, but it shall not be the last. When I went, I went with friends for drink and dinner- a waitress told us of the taco bar that started at 10 PM in the upstairs portion, and we all went for that, after getting drinks. Unbeknownst to us, the taco bar was complimentary with drinks- quite a welcomed suprise. Their frozen margaritas are the business, and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere going on. Am excited to eat there again.

Super good food. Big portions for reasonable price. Staff is very friendly. If you are up for a challenge get the garbage burrito. So good!

Decent food at a decent price. The service was good. The atmosphere is fun. I have been to the restaurant a few times over the last couple years and have always had a good experience. They have a good selection of margaritas but the beer menu is a little lacking in variety. Overall a great place to dine.

Great food, great drinks. I'm never disappointed. Plus, happy hour after 10 pm includes unlimited FREE tacos! My home away from home. Try the Don Julio tequila with your meal.

We love coming here after work! Happy hour on the top floor can get pretty loud, but it's a great atmosphere and for those who prefer a quieter experience, the ground floor has good seating as well. The frozen margaritas are fab!
